NAPOWRIMO Day 18 - Lullaby

Maybe I'll be able to sleep after writing this!

The little fawn follows her mother,
they sleep by the shady forest boarder,
Sweet baby look and listen.

The little owl hoo hoots from his tree,
open-eyed as the sun sets, and free.
Dear baby, shut your eyes, just listen.

Breathe little baby, sleep will come.
Rest in dreamland safe at home.
Rest with a soft cheek rosy. Rest.
Sleep little one, cozy. Sleep.
