Sunday here, and it's lovely outside. I plan to mend my son's fence today, just a small hole the size of my dog. That way my dog can romp in my son's yard when we visit without getting lost. Which got me thinking about dog poems like the brilliant ones Mary Oliver wrote to her dog which you can read at Bobbie Pryon's blog here http://bobbiepyron.blogspot.com/2011/04/three-poems-by-mary-oliver.html. Here's a link to Foliate Oak where you can read a poem I wrote about a fight in a marriage that has a dog in it. http://www.foliateoak.uamont.edu/archives/december-2010/poetry/lucky-mt.-dog-by-patricia-l.-johnson
