Busy Day and Memorial

Today was one of those busy days. People in and out, lots of errands run. My dear aunt died this morning. I will always remember her for her kindness in small ways. She loved reading and shared that love of books with her daughters. I can remember her discussing Aul's Clan of the Cave Bear with her daughter. Odd things come to mind, her beef stroganoff recipe, how she was a young American mother in Egypt with one of her daughters born there. I mostly remember her gentle quiet kindness and how she supported me with thoughtful letters and Christmas cards during a tough time in my life, and, well, always was there for me. So this is my quiet memorial to a favorite aunt who I will always remember and love.
