A little stone for the river January 1

This is a cold day, afternoon wind chills down to 30 below at times. Inside, peaceful, happy home. Homemade soup - corn and quinoa chowder with the new mix of spices my husband received for Christmas. A little squabble about loaning out his childhood dresser. We decide not to loan it to my daughter for our new grandaughter. Peace. When you love the people you live with it is easy to return to the peaceful place love brings. Happy New Year!
