Day 24 NAPOWRIMO Lipogram

Here is a lipogram for Day 24 of NAPOWRIMO. A Lipogram excludes all but certain letters from the alphabet. I came up with the letters a c d e i l m n s t v y which are all found in the name of the poet Edna St. Vincent Millay. Oh how I wanted to use my precious o’s in this one. This is a good learning tool and discipline.

A Silly Scant Scene

In a scene scented linen clean,

nits, slits and vanity  vacate.

Leavin’ small details seen,

steadied instead a’ indecent.

Sentences vindicate my

silliness in edits I can’t instill.

Let me scan my devil and melt.
